This portfolio features my own home. I have used several colors of paint throughout the main living area that work in harmony not only with each other but with the flooring and furniture as well. The dining room and ceiling in the breakfast nook feature the beautiful Devine Merlot. The plaid couch inspired the choice of Merlot. I decided to carry the Merlot up into the breakfast nook ceiling to show off it's unique architecture and carry the thread of Merlot through out the space. The sage green tile floor inspired the use of Devine Date on the kitchen walls and down the one side of the hallway. The overall color of the great room is called Devine Cappuccino, which is a taupe with mauve undertones, blending perfectly with the Merlot and the taupe carpet that is throughout the house. I feel that a house should have a flow that carries you peacefully from room to room. Look through my portfolio and see what you think.
